I did public school up until 7th grade, when I switched to homeschool. I tried it for a semester, but my mom got a little sick of me. :) So, I started Williamsburg.  It was a pretty big change from public school and homeschool, but I enjoyed it, especially since Dallin started it too. I’ve had a lot of great experiences, even if it is challenging and stressful at times.

I loved all the readings for classes. That is, when I did them. I wasn’t very good at that my freshman year and I think I missed out on a lot because of it. I’ll admit that some of it was a little confusing, but that just made it even more fun to discuss in class. Everything in the text came together once we started talking about it. I’ve quickly realized there’s usually much more to a story than you might think on first inspection.

Elevation was an amazing experience as well. It taught me a lot and allowed me to meet amazing people. One of my favorite parts of elevation has to be koosh. It’s incredibly fun and my pod was sooo close to winning it. That’s not all elevation is about though. I also really love solo time. It gives you time to relax and really think about the experiences through the week. There’s so

much happening through the week and so much to learn, it’s really nice to have plenty of time to just explore your thoughts.

If I had to pick just a few things I could go back and do in school they would be: do the reading, do assignments on time and do SAR’s. Reading really helps you to understand what is going on in class and be engaged. Otherwise, you just end up watching everybody talk about something you know nothing about. This makes you bored and makes it harder to get assignments done. Doing assignments on time helps you enjoy  school more and makes it so much less stressful. Just make things easy on yourself.  Doing SAR’s  can really help you get stuff done on time. Whether you have to do it for an assignment or not, they still help you know what you need to get done. Anyways, that’s my advice for anybody that wants it.
