Sean Partridge

Sean has had a full and interesting journey during the last 4 years of his life. As a student at Williamsburg High School, Sean has shown a strong work ethic and diligence in his educational experience. He loved to be involved in discussions and debates as he has learned and grown in his classes. Sean loves to share his insights, his contagious confidence inspires thought and discussion in subjects that he studies. Building relationships with his mentors have only helped with his confidence and his desire to participate and express his thoughts concisely. His love of learning is a daily quest as he ponders, reads and investigates the topics that he loves. Sean is a natural leader, a kind and gentle person with deep compassion for those around him.

Perseverance is a quality that is strong and natural for Sean, even during many very difficult trials in Sean’s family life he has stayed focused on what is truly important and passionate to him, he is a fighter! Laughter and humor is an innate characteristic of Sean's personality as well. Sean has loved his experience with Williamsburg, the mentors and his classmates have been a joy and a great opportunity.

Elevation has been a highlight in Sean’s life as he has gone every summer since his voyage with “The Burgers”. Great memories have been made through the Elevation experience. Many crazy, fun and unforgettable times have been had! Mentors have been inspiring, and his fellow students have become loyal friends.

Outside of school, Sean has been involved in many recreational activities and a variety of employment opportunities. His passion for shotgun Shooting and his diligence in practice led him to become a National Skeet Shooting Champion in 2013. This was a challenge as he spent countless hours practicing, which took an immense commitment that paid off.

Sean worked with our local Fire Department in the Explorer Cadet program for nearly  2 years. As he participated with the Fire Fighters and became one of them, he adapted to be a “first responders”, he saw and met with some very difficult experiences. This opportunity was an eye-opening ride as to life; also initiation and fun with “The Guys”. Sean has also been active with his church and community, service opportunities, awards with the scouting program and volunteer experiences have been monumental parts of his life.

In March 2017 Sean had the privilege of going with a Williamsburg group on a World War II expedition, what an opportunity of a lifetime!! Sean felt the compassion for the people that suffered deeply in The Holocaust. The sights, the places, and the feelings were AMAZING!! Truly it was life changing!!! Sean especially loved Poland, he went to Bolivia, Austria, Germany and more. The FOOD was amazing and he still craves Black Currant Juice, YUM YUM!!

This experience has given this enthusiast,“History Nerd” the passion for wanting more!! Thank you, Greg Denning, for THE  OPPORTUNITY of an unforgettable experience!!!!!!!

Sean is off to Eastern Arizona College and is considering a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
