My name is Mathieu Fernandez, and wow it's crazy graduation is really already here dang time flies doesn’t it? Now I have been homeschooled all my life. I found out about Williamsburg after I had gone through independent homeschooling (really boring and I never really enjoyed it or learned much anything that year. hahaha). I joined my freshman year of high school. Honestly, I was scared of joining Williamsburg when I realized how tough it would be but I powered through and began to love this school. Williamsburg has taught me so many lessons and life skills I probably never would have learned otherwise. This school really took me out of my comfort zone and helped me realize the greatness I am able to accomplish. I have also met many amazing people in this school. From
my friends to the teachers, everyone has been amazing. From Mr. Denning’s awesome inspirational quotes and words to Mr. Hailstone’s incredible ways of pushing me to new levels outside my comfort zone. This school really has been an adventure. I just have learned so much over these past four years growing and becoming a better person.
The amazing people I have met through this school I am so happy to call them my friends and I'm so happy I met them all and get the chance to see how incredible they are and how they changed over the years into awesome and amazing people. The teachers here have also helped me grow so much and helped push me through some of the toughest times I had in Williamsburg. Mr. Denning was a huge inspiration to me he helped me grow and expand on myself in ways I never thought I could. Mr. Reynolds, he really helped me see and build me up into an awesome person. And Mr. Hailstone as well. I could go on and on
about the teachers and how awesome they are and that just shows how incredible they are to not only me but to everyone who has been taught by them in the past at Williamsburg.
I can't wait to see what the future holds for me and what I can accomplish if I work hard and put my best effort. I really want to pursue a career in automotive, also get a business degree, since I love cars so much. I’ve always believed in do what you love cause if you do something you’re not happy with what's the point? I can’t wait to meet new people and always go first. To never be afraid to try new things and to pursue greatness. I will always be myself and forever keep what I have learned through Williamsburg in these four years.
