Before Williamsburg I was homeschooled and participated in a Commonwealth school with a local group of homeschoolers. I discovered Williamsburg through friends. I started Williamsburg at the start of my freshman year and have enjoyed it greatly, and I have stayed with it for all of my high school education. Through Williamsburg, I have learned about who I am and what I am capable of. I have grown in my abilities to set and keep commitments, which is what leadership is defined at, here at Williamsburg.

 

My ability to study and think has been increased greatly through learning to write well and through simulations and readings. I am more confident in my capabilities in my schooling and in life. I feel like a better leader of myself and feel capable with working with and leading others, as well. I love that Williamsburg is different and fosters creativity. Williamsburg mentors have inspired me to be my best self and to make my own path as a leader. I love the outdoors and learning about the world around me and I am planning on serving a church mission and then attending college, studying business management and entrepreneurship.
